Trust Assistant

Accuro Trust (Switzerland) SA is seeking to recruit a Trust Assistant who will be based in the Geneva Office.

The role involves to:

  • Complete various internal and external correspondence, as appropriate or requested by the Trust Managers and CSD’s; 

  • Ensure all incoming, internal and outgoing correspondence is filed both physically and electronically in line with set procedures and standards;

  • Perform accurate processing of payments and associated documentation;

  • Complete the opening and closing  of custodian & bank accounts;

  • Maintain the client database (NavOne);

  • Perform research to resolve problems, initiating corrective actions either directly or with the Trust Managers/CSD’s and following through to ensure client’s satisfaction and to prevent recurrence;

  • Assist with the closure / transfer out processes;

  • Liaise with the Trust Managers and colleagues on a daily basis in order to ensure that all necessary tasks are completed within the required timescales;

  • Undertake any reasonable additional duties which from time to time may be requested by a member of the Management;

  • Assume back up of other trust assistant(s) when appropriate.

  • Outside organisation: Clients, banks and intermediaries


Core Skills & Knowledge

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience;

  • STEP certificate;

  • Good technical knowledge of trust company administration processes;

  • Good understanding of the key risks associated with services provided;

  • Good knowledge of MS Office;

  • Proven ability to work to required deadlines;

  • Able to manage and prioritise time effectively and independently;

  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills with both staff and external intermediaries;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French is an asset;

  • Methodical, thorough and attentive to detail;

  • Ability to prioritise workload;

  • Team spirit.

Assistant Relationship Manager - Corporate Team

Accuro Trust (Jersey) Limited is seeking to recruit a Senior Trust Manager for its Corporate team.

The role involves to:  

  • Provide support to members of the team and administer a portfolio of clients whilst maintaining and developing relationships with their own portfolio and the wider team’s clients, maintaining and developing working relationship with third parties and ensuring that all business is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Accuro Group and the rules, guidelines and expectations of the local regulator.
  • Identify new opportunities to develop both existing and new client relationships.
  • Deliver and exceed on the quantitative and qualitative performance  and budget expectations of the role.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to support the strategic and operational objectives.
  • To understand, embrace and practice Accuro’s cultures and values.  


Key relationships:

  • Internal - Accuro Group
  •  External: Clients, banks and intermediaries

Core Skills & Knowledge:

  • Over 3 years of experience within a Trust environment
  • Studying for relevant qualification, e.g. STEP, ICSA
  • Able to build strong and effective relationships with clients
  • MS Office skills
  • Able to manage and prioritise time effectively and independently
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills, secondary language would also be of benefit
  • Solid all round administration skills
  • Able to identify any material business risks
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal frameworks
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity on both an individual and corporate basis
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills with both staff and external intermediaries
  • Methodical, thorough and attentive to detail
